We are sorry for any frustration. The right-hand pinch roller is initially fairly tight on the Cameo 1 and Cameo 2 models.

Some users have reported an easier time rolling the roller away from them (toward the back of the unit) while others find it easier to roll toward themselves (toward the front of the unit) in order to have the grips released from the notches.

With the lock lever unlocked on the right-hand side of the unit, you will want to hold the silver bar with one hand firmly in place while pinching and rolling the thick part of the white knob in the opposite direction with the other hand.

While it is initially difficult, it will get easier after the first couple of times of moving it out of the notches to slide into a new position. Though you may feel resistance, rest assured you will not be breaking anything as you attempt to initially roll the grips.

TIP: We have received tips from some users that using rubber gloves (such as dish-washing gloves) have helped them in the initial gripping and dislodging. Again, this is only for the intial action. The rollers should become easier to move. Gloves should only be a temporary solution for the intial movement.
