We would first recommend to review the Send panel in Silhouette Studio to check the firmware message. In many cases, you may be able to simply select a "Skip for now" option.
If this option is not present, you may likely need to run a manual firmware update. Unfortunately, we are only able to offer a resolution when using a PC. If you are on Mac, you can temporarily hook up your Cameo to a PC to correct the concern.
Manual Firmware Update
If needed, you can run a manual firmware update to correct this issue as follows:
- Download the attached file to your computer (Silhouette_Firmware_Update.zip) for the Windows.
- Download the attached file to your computer (CAMEO_4_FMUP_M_V105.dmg) for the Mac.
- Extract the zipped file
- Open the extracted folder
- Run the 'Silhouette Firmware Update' application
- Follow the instructions on screen
