Terminal Machine Pause Error
If your Cameo 3 is stuck on 'Pause' and will not cut any jobs, you can clear this error as follows:
- Cancel any pending jobs in Silhouette Studio (if you are able)
- Close Silhouette Studio
- Update Silhouette Studo to the latest software version available
- Power off the Cameo
- Unplug the power cord and USB cord from the Cameo
- Wait 60 seconds to allow the machine to shut down completely
- Plug the Cameo USB and power cords back in
- Open Silhouette Studio
- Power on the Cameo
Machine Turns Itself Off
The Cameo 3 model has a built in sleep timer.
The sleep timer has the following options:
- 15 minutes (default)
- 30 minutes
- Off (sleep timer disabled)
Sleep Timer Setting
To adjust the sleep timer setting on your Cameo 3 model:
- Power on the Cameo
- Select the gear icon (upper right-hand side of touch-screen)
- Scroll down using the down arrow on the screen
- Select the ‘Sleep Mode’ option
- Select the desired option
- Tap the back arrow until you return to the main loading screen
Waking Up the Cameo
If the Cameo 3 goes into sleep mode while you are working, you can simply tap the screen to wake it up.
