As needed, you can perform a power cycle (hard reset) of your Silhouette machine as follows:


  1. Power off the Silhouette machine
  2. Disconnect the USB cable from both the Silhouette machine and the computer
  3. Disconnect the power cable from the Silhouette machine
  4. Firmly plug in and power on the Silhouette machine after a minute of being unplugged
  5. Firmly connect the USB cable directly to the machine AND directly to the computer (bypassing any USB hubs)


IMPORTANT: All connections should be made using Silhouette cables. Other cables are not guaranteed to be compatible with the Silhouette machines
