You can create or edit cutom cut settings in Silhouette Studio as follows.

Add New Material

  1. Open Silhouette Studio
  2. Go to the SEND tab
  3. Click on the material drop-down list
  4. Click on Add New Material Type
  5. A new material window will open at the bottom of the panel
  6. Name your material type 
  7. Select the material family type from the drop-down list on the right hand side of the screen
    NOTE: This helps the software determine how to handle the material for select actions
  8. Define your Cut action settings
  9. If desired, click on the Plus icon to add additional actions and define these as well
  10. Once all information is entered as desired, click on the SAVE button

Your new material will appear at the bottom of the Material Settings list.

Edit Existing Material

  1. Open Silhouette Studio
  2. Go to the SEND tab
  3. Click on the material drop-down list
  4. Select your desired material type
  5. Make any desired changes to the settings
  6. Once all information is entered as desired, click on the SAVE button

The updated settings will now be present going forward whenever selecting this material type.
