If an image is being dragged across the workspace in Silhouette Studio or being re-sized and is 'jumping' from place to place, rather than being moved or re-sized smoothly, this typically indicates that the 'Snap to Grid' and/or 'Snap to Guides' option is enabled (even if the Grid or Guides are not displayed).
Disable 'Snap To' Options
To resolve the concern:
- Open Silhouette Studio
- Go View > Grid Options
- Uncheck the 'Snap to Grid' and 'Snap to Guides' check-boxes
