If you have attempted to update your Cameo 4 firmware and have encountered an error where you need to push the firmware update through again to resolve the error, please perform the following steps:


  1. Close Silhouette Studio
  2. Power off your Silhouette machine and unplug the USB cord
  3. Save the attached file to your computer
  4. Right-click to unzip this and then open the unzipped folder
  5. Double-click to run the "Silhouette_Firmware_Update" program
  6. Follow the instructions on your computer screen to update the firmware
