Mint Studio Library Recovery
If you are unable to locate purchased designs from the Silhouette Design Store in the Mint Studio software program, you will need to perform a recovery.
Library Recovery
To recover your library content:
- Open Mint Studio
- Click on the 'Silhouette Design Store' button
- Log into your Silhouette account
- Select [Your Name] in the upper-right corner
- Select the 'Account Settings' option
- Select 'Recover All Downloaded Designs'
- Enter password and click 'Submit'
- Purchased designs will download to the software in the 'Recent Downloads' folder
Once the sync is finished you will have access to all your purchased designs.
If desired, you can set the software to download pending orders upon opening by doing the following:
- Select File
- Select Download Pending Orders…
- Enter account info and check the box 'Check every time Mint Studio starts'
"Lever Open" Error Message
The "Lever Open" error indicates that there has been an error in loading the Stamp Sheet into the Silhouette Mint™ machine.
Issue Resolution
To correct this error:
- Remove the Stamp Sheet from the Mint
- Turn over the Mint to view the bottom panel
- Ensure that the lever is in the PRINT position
- Turn the Mint back over and place it on a flat surface
- Power on the Mint
- Once you have your design ready In Mint Studio, click on the Send to Mint icon
- In the Send to Mint panel, click on the Start Mint button
- When prompted (at the bottom of the Send to Mint panel) insert your Stamp Sheet into the Mint
The Mint will then attempt to detect the Stamp Sheet and you should receive one of the following messages:
- Detection Successful
The Mint has detected the proper Stamp Sheet and will proceed to create your Stamp. - Media Not Detected
Remove the Stamp Sheet and re-insert it as shown on the diagram in the Send to Mint panel - Lever Open
Remove the Stamp Sheet, select Start Mint, and then insert the Stamp Sheet. Please note that you must first start the Mint prior to inserting your stamp sheet.
Missing Designs in Mint Studio
If you are unable to locate purchased designs from the Silhouette Design Store in Mint Studio:
- Open Mint Studio
- Select File
- Select Download Pending Orders…
- Enter your Silhouette account email and password
- Check the box 'Check every time Mint Studio starts'
- Click the 'Check for Download' button
- Wait until the process is completed
- Close and re-open Mint Studio
"Unidentified Developer" Error for Mint Studio
If you are attempting to open Mint Studio and encounter the error message "Unidentified Developer" or "Could not verify publisher", you can do the following:
- Right-click on the Mint Studio application icon
- Select to Open
- Select the "Open Anyway" option
