Please note that with the changes to our syncing service you will NOT lose access to anything that is yours. You will still be able to download and use all purchased files. You will also retain all User Generated content on the device which it was created. However your User Generated content will no longer sync between devices. We highly recommend that you back up your files so that in the event of a computer crash or other circumstances you will still be able to access your designs. Some viable options for this include backing up to a cloud storage service or an external storage device.

The following information, explains the 5G syncing service update taking place on May 1, 2025.

After May 1, 2025 all users will be required to have a Club Silhouette or a Diamond Tier Subscription to receive the full 5 GB allotment of Syncing Data. Any users that do not have one of the above subscriptions will have access to the standard 1 GB of syncing data on May 1st. This means that once you have filled your syncing data allotment the things you create or download will only be accessible on that computer, they will not automatically transfer over to other devices.

You can export your user made content by logging into your account and going to the library. Once there, click on your name in the upper left side, then click on "Export User Made Designs" You can then choose a location on your computer, where this will be saved. This will mirror your user made designs currently in your library by name and category, any future changes will need to be re-exported to your backup location. 

You can also choose to export all files including purchased files that have been synced to your computer, but that data will need to be re-imported to Silhouette Studio to view the files.
