Change your Silhouette account password
- On the My Account page sign-in screen, you will see the message "Forgot password?
- Enter your email address and the Captcha code displayed on the screen, click the "Reset my password" button, and you will receive an email to reset your password.
- Click "Set a New Password" in the email to display the password reset screen.
- Enter the new password twice and click "Set new password" to change your password.
Change the email address on your Silhouette account
- Go to Silhouette's My Account page and sign in.
- On the My Account tab, click [Edit] under Contact Information. If you check [Change email] box, a field for entering your email address and password will be displayed on the right side.
- Enter your new email address, enter your current password, and click the [ Save ] button.
This change is available on both the Silhouette Design Store and Silhouette America websites, as well as signing in to Silhouette Studio's library, and more. It applies to all accesses.
You don't need to change your email address for each individual site or software.

Merging your Silhouette account:
If you have multiple accounts and need to merge them, please contact our Customer Center with the following information:
- The email address you want to keep
- The email address you want to merge
- Your name
- and the serial number of the product (if you have registered your product)
When you merge your accounts, all your information will be merged into one account, including the following information:
- Machine product registration
- Design store subscriptions
- Design order history
- All other account information.
If you can confirm that both accounts belong to the same person, you can merge the accounts. If we believe the account belongs to a different individual, we may ask you to contact us from the address you wish to merge with to verify ownership. Please note that Silhouette does not allow account sharing, including the sale of your account to transfer ownership of your content and/or software licenses.
Updating Country
While you are able to update your account information and preferences at https://www.silhouetteamerica.com/my-account, including your time zone, language, and currency, the country logged on your account is automatically pulled from the IP address reported from your device.
The country listed on your account may not match your actual country location. This can occur if you are using a VPN where the IP location reported is not your actual location. Unfortunately, there is no option to manually adjust this. Each time you log in, our system will note your location and update the field if your reported location changes.
Please rest assured that this field will not change or impact your ability to use your account or any section of our websites.

Silhouette does not currently support shared classroom-type accounts that multiple persons can access to share upgrades and content.
